The J1600 from The Mobile Robot Company is a mobile robot able to carry 1600kg and drive up to 1.5m/s. The size of the robot is 1893x850x2060mm (LxWxH), and it weighs 940kg.
This is an Automated Pallet Jack Forklift able to transport Pallets and Pallet Sized Containers. The maximum lifting height is 1600mm. It has manual operating mode and. It is ideal for Ground Level Transport, Order Picking with a Human, Pallet Stacking, Truck Loading and Unloading and Deep Lane Storage, Dense Pallet Storage on the Floor, Double Deep Storage, Drive In Storage, Live Storage, Mobile Racking, Pick/Drop to ASRS, Push Back Storage, Selective Storage, VNA Storage. It is compatible with Block Pallet with baseboard on two sides and two sides open, Block Pallet with four sides open (no baseboard), Stringer Pallet (two way entry) of size 1100x1100mm, 1165x1165mm, 1200x1000mm, 1200x800mm, 42x42 inch (1067x1067mm), 48x40 inch (1219x1016mm), 48x42 inch (1219x1067mm), 48x48 inch (1219x1219mm), 800x600mm.
J1600 can work continuosly for up to 10 hours, and gains another 60 minutes of operating time with 10 minutes of charging. It has 2D obstacle detection, 3D obstacle detection in the front and autonomous obstacle avoidance. The robot is able to maintain acurate localization using 3D SLAM. It is able to detect the presence of a load.
The robot has a floor clearance of 30mm below the robot, is able to drive over bumps up to a height of 25mm and traverse gaps in the floor up to 20mm wide. It can climb an incline with a slope gradient of up to 3%.
